On a particular day, I found myself in a group setting where one of the members consistently failed to meet deadlines. Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to inquire about the reason behind this recurring issue. To my surprise, I discovered that this individual was grappling with some deeply personal problems, which explained their inability to fulfill their obligations. By actively involving all parties in the resolution process, we collectively worked towards a compromise that accommodated the individual's circumstances while also ensuring the timely completion of our shared tasks. One instance comes to mind where my commitment to conflict resolution was put to the test.

Through this productive dialogue, I was able to comprehend the root of the conflict and identify potential solutions that would address both the individual's personal issues and their responsibility within the group. This experience served as a testament to the efficacy of the conflict resolution strategies I had learned from the TED video.

Hello Monica, I think that one of the most important points that you mention when having a conflict is to ask the person directly about what is happening without making any judgment and having active listening, in this way you can really identify the root. of the problem and find a solution to the conflict that works for both parties.
